Fatih ÜNALAN graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering (English) in 2011 and completed his Master’s degree in Engineering Management in 2023.

He began his aviation career in 2012 at Turkish Airlines Inc. as a specialist and has since held various roles including auditor, engineer and supervisor. Between 2020 and 2022 he served as Manager of Quality and Safety at Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA). Following this, from 2022 to 2023, he held the position of SVP, Compliance, Safety and Security at Air Albania, based in Albania.

In December 2023, he returned to TAFA as SVP Operations, and in August 2025, he was appointed as the CEO of the Academy.

Fluent in English, Fatih ÜNALAN is married and the father of two children.
