As in all stages of TAFA trainings, modern pilot trainings are provided via simulators. With the new generation FNPT II simulators equipped with advanced systems, the most realistic training conditions are provided. In the simulator trainings, students gain maximum flight knowledge and experience under the conditions of VFR (Visual Flight Rules) and IFR (Instrument Flight Rules), and trainings are provided on the basis of realistic scenario for emergency situations that can be experienced during any stage of flight.
Aydın Çıldır Airport is only used by Turkish Airlines Flight Academy for training purposes. Airport features are as follows. LIFE OF TRAINEES
Trainees at TAFA are accommodated at two different hotels, one in Kuşadası and the other in central Aydın. Transportation service is provided by the Academy for the trainees arriving from Kuşadası.
Terminal building features a private resting lounge for students and two resting halls. In addition to these, there are 2 gazebos in front of the classroom building as well as privately run Academix café for trainees to use.
Aydın province is located in Aegean Region in western Turkey. Set along the coast of Aegean Sea, Aydın is an important city and one of the major tourism hubs in Turkey with its towns of Didim and Kuşadası as well as Greater Menderes River.
